In 2009, Vicente launched PGAdiversity.org in an effort to expand the reach of the Guild’s diversity committee.
In 2010, Vicente rebooted the Guild’s green presence, PGAgreen.org with a new design and a world class content management system. The site’s goal was to inform the creative community on state-of-the-art sustainable production practices and highlight productions that are going above and beyond the call of duty to be greener.
In 2011, Vicente presented a created/moderated a panel titled “Preparing the Next Generation of Diverse Filmmakers,” at SXSW in hopes of exploring the challenges and benefits of diversity in today’s Hollywood.
At SXSW 2012, Vicente moderated “Diversity Counts: Auteurs, Actors and Audiences” where he and his panelists will discuss ways for storytellers to use their diversity to enrich themselves, their projects and audiences in a positive way.
Vicente also serves as Chair of the PGA’s Events Committee, overseeing some of the largest events on the PGA’s calendar.
In 2015, he was elected to the Producers Guild New Media Council Board of Delegates and was also awarded the Council’s “Marc A. Levey Distinguished Service Award” for his contributions to the Guild.
